Rhone Valley, France

Domaine Aubert has been built over the past decades and comprises today more than 480 hectares

spread from the north to the south of the prestigious southern Rhône Valley over the appellations of

Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Plan de Dieu, Sainte-Cécile, Suze-la-Rousse,

Visan, Côtes du Rhône and Grignan-les-Adhémar.

The history of this vineyard begins with Victorin in 1926. He plants, in Tulette, the first vines which

will be the basis of the estate. In the early 1970s, his son André took over the reins with the desire

to expand the estate. It will be the acquisition, in 1973, of a domain in Visan for a surface of 10ha.

Under the watchful eye of André, the management of the Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan

vines will be carried out with respect for them and for the land that marks them with its imprint.

His 3 sons, Alain, Claude and Yves, took over the management in the early 1980s. Considered as

pioneers in the region, they acquired an estate in Donzère in 1981: 80 hectares of vines in AOC

Grignan-les-Adhémar on a land whose great value has been recognized for its vineyards since the

Antiquity.

They follow in the footsteps of their father regarding the management of the vineyard; however, they

decide to go even further by choosing winemaking as soon as they settle in. They then set up a

state-of-the-art cellar in order to best preserve the aromas of the grapes and their finesse.

The Aubert family continued acquisitions during the 1990s with properties in the communes of

Travaillan, Sainte-Cécile les Vignes, Rochegude and Tulette in AOC Côtes du Rhône and AOC

Côtes du Rhône Villages.

In 1999, the Aubert brothers decided to expand on the plateau of Plan de Dieu, a geological

masterpiece dating from the Riss ice age. They acquired the Grand Retour a vigneyard in one piece

of more than 150 hectares which is home to the king grape varieties of the Rhône. The privileged

location of this vineyard between Rasteau, Gigondas and Vacqueyras was able to seduce these

enthusiasts.

The Aubert Family acquired Château Husson in 2015 with as AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape, thus

confirming their desire to develop their portfolio within the AOC du Rhône.

With their passion and tenacity, over the past 30 years they have repeatedly undertaken

modernization and technical development to always meet the latest quality criteria.

Respect for the land, the research for the absolute truth of the land are values that lead the Aubert

Family in its work.

Today, the Aubert family has full ownership of more than 480ha of vines in production divided under

8 different AOCs (AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape white and red, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages with

Names Plan de Dieu, Sainte-Cécile, Suze-la-Rousse, Visan red, in AOC Côtes du Rhône white-

rosé-red and in AOC Grignan-les-Adhémar white-rosé-red) and IGP Méditerranée white Viognier-

Chardonnay, rosé and red Merlot).
