Bordeaux, France

In 1912, Élie Garde laid the foundation for Château Haut-Goujon, a modest estate of 6 hectares in Haut-Goujon. Over the decades, the Garde family's commitment unfolded through Robert, Henri, and Liliane. In 1957, Henri and Liliane began a transformative journey, gradually expanding the vineyard. In 1995, SCEA Garde et Fils was born, a collaboration involving the couple's three children. Despite Henri's passing in 2013, the family persevered, creating a new winery in 2016. In 2021, Liliane was honored with the Medal of Agricultural Merit, embodying a lifetime of dedication.

Today, the Garde family stands as a deeply committed team, rooted in the terroir and driven by environmental respect. Looking forward, Château Haut-Goujon embraces a philosophy that views wine as a living entity. Avoiding chemical inputs, the estate delves into geobiology, understanding the environment's influence on vines and wine. Their commitment to harmony with nature echoes in every bottle, crafting exceptional, healthy wines that tell a story of dedication, respect, and a timeless connection with the world around them.
